Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a reachable assertion in nbd_block_status() function. A remote attacker can send specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
