Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-44221)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the SSL-VPN management interface. A remote user with administrative privileges can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
2) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-5970)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to bypass multi-factor authentication.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in SSL-VPN virtual office portal when handling second authentication factor. A remote attacker with knowledge of the victim's password can bypass multi-factor authentication and gain unauthorized access to the application.
