Description
This security bulletin contains information about 8 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-52324)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload when handling ZIP files. A remote user can upload a malicious file and execute it on the server.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-52328)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in dashboard widgets. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
3) PHP file inclusion (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-52325)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to include and execute arbitrary PHP files on the server.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect input validation when including PHP files within the getObjWGFServiceApiByApiName function in the WFProxy widget. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the affected application, include and execute arbitrary PHP code on the system with privileges of the web server.
4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-52326)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in dashboard widgets. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
5) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-52327)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in dashboard widgets. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
6) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-52331)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform SSRF attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within the modVulnerabilityProtect module. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.
7) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-52329)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in dashboard widgets in the modDLPTemplateMatch_drildown.php component.
8) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-52330)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data within the Policy Management functionality.
