The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in javascript: URI with a setTimeout running on top origin sites. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary scripts on top origin sites in urlbar and compromise any loaded page.
2) Universal cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-0606)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when using window.open() method. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of any website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
