The vulnerability allows a local user to overwrite arbitrary files on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure permissions for the log directory in /Library/Application Support/NoMachine/var on macOS. A local user can create a hard link to a critical file on the system and overwrite it with root privileges, resulting in a denial of service attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Operations (Quartz) component in Oracle Retail Customer Management and Segmentation Foundation. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.
