Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the Routing Protocol Daemon (rpd) when handling EVPN type-5 route. A remote unauthenticated attacker can send specially crafted traffic to the device, trigger a stack-based buffer overflow and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
