DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data inside the file management functionality. A remote attacker can can load and deserialize remote pickle objects and gain code execution.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
Note, the vulnerability does not require authentication for Windows installations, however authentication is requires for Linux based installations.
Update the affected package pgadmin4 to the latest version.
