SB2024050706 - Multiple vulnerabilities in ARM Mali GPU kernel driver

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-1395)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the Mali GPU kernel driver. A local user can trigger a use-after-free error and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-1067)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the Mali GPU kernel driver on Armv8.0 cores. A local user can trigger a use-after-free error and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

3) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-6363)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the Mali GPU kernel driver. A local user can trigger a use-after-free error and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
