1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-26936)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read error within the smb2_allocate_rsp_buf() function in fs/smb/server/smb2pdu.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
