1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-37150)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to improper credential handling in .npmrc support when downloading tarballs from a different domain referenced by a registry. A remote attacker can cause Deno to send scope authentication credentials to the tarball URL to disclose sensitive information.
User interaction is required, and exploitation is possible when a private registry references tarball URLs on a different domain.
