1) Race condition within a thread (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-26905)
The vulnerability allows a local user to manipulate data.
The vulnerability exists due to a data race within the btrfs_calc_reclaim_metadata_size(), need_preemptive_reclaim() and btrfs_preempt_reclaim_metadata_space() functions in fs/btrfs/space-info.c. A local user can manipulate data.
Remediation
Install update from vendor's website.
