This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-36277)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper verification of cryptographic signature. A remote attacker can cause the affected app cannot detect event data with invalid signatures.


2) Reliance on Obfuscation or Encryption of Security-Relevant Inputs without Integrity Checking (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-36279)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to reliance on obfuscation or encryption of security-relevant inputs without integrity checking. A remote attacker can perform a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack and manipulate content of direct messages (DMs) between users.


3) Reusing a Nonce, Key Pair in Encryption (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-36289)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system. 

The vulnerability exists due to reusing a nonce, key pair in encryption. A remote attacker can perform a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack and manipulate content of direct messages (DMs) between users.
