Description

1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-36917)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the blk_ioctl_discard() function in block/ioctl.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
