Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-5719)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the implementation of the HTTP API. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-5720)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the implementation of the HTTP API. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Use of Hard-coded Cryptographic Key (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-5722)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to use of hard-coded cryptographic key within the HTTP API. A remote attacker on the local network can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
4) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-5721)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in when processing authentication requests within the implementation of the cluster HTTP API. A remote attacker can bypass authentication process and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
5) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-5716)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in when processing authentication requests within the password reset mechanism. A remote attacker can reset a user's password and bypass authentication on the system.
6) Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-5717)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the implementation of the HTTP API. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
7) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-5718)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in when processing authentication requests within the implementation of the cluster HTTP API. A remote attacker can bypass authentication process and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
