1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-36920)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the mpi3mr_bsg_process_mpt_cmds() function in drivers/scsi/mpi3mr/mpi3mr_app.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
