1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-39480)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the kdb_printf() function in kernel/debug/kdb/kdb_io.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
