Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Observable discrepancy (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-36829)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to observable discrepancy when comparing passwords. A remote attacker can guess the length of a secret string.

2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-47208)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when detecting data format. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
