Description

This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-36130)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization checks.

The vulnerability exists due to improper authorization in web component. A remote attacker on the local network can execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system of the appliance.


2) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-36131)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data in web component. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


3) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-36132)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient verification of authentication controls. A remote attacker can bypass authentication and access sensitive resources.


4) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-34788)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exists due to an error when processing authentication requests in web component. A remote attacker can bypass authentication process and gain access potentially sensitive information.
