Description

This security bulletin contains information about 8 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-21123)

The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle Database Core in Oracle Database Server. A local privileged user can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate data.

2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-21174)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to perform service disruption.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Java VM in Oracle Database Server. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to perform service disruption.

3) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-0397)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to perform service disruption.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the OML4Py (Python) in Oracle Database Server. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to perform service disruption.

4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-21098)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform service disruption.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Compiler component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform service disruption.

5) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-4603)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within the application when checking DSA keys and parameters. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

6) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-21126)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform service disruption.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle Database Portable Clusterware in Oracle Database Server. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform service disruption.

7) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-21184)

The vulnerability allows a remote privileged user to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Oracle Database RDBMS Security in Oracle Database Server. A remote privileged user can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.

8) Infinite loop (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-41881)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop within the HaProxyMessageDecoder when parsing a TLV with type of "PP2_TYPE_SSL". A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted message to consume all available system resources and cause denial of service conditions.
