Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-34021)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload. A remote administrator on the local network can upload a malicious file and execute it on the server.
2) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-39607)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote administrator on the local network can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-40883)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.
