Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-27364)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in the "slsi_rx_roamed_ind()" function. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
2) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-27387)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the "slsi_rx_range_done_ind()" function. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and overwrite arbitrary files on the target system.
3) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-27383)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the "slsi_get_scan_extra_ies()" function. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and overwrite arbitrary files on the target system.
4) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-27368)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in the "slsi_rx_received_frame_ind()" function. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
5) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-27367)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in the "slsi_rx_roamed_ind()" function. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
6) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-27366)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in the "slsi_rx_scan_done_ind()" function. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
7) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-27365)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in the "slsi_rx_blockack_ind()" function. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
