Description

This security bulletin contains information about 17 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45514)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data passed via the "packages" parameter. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.


2) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45513)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data within the "contacts/print" endpoint. A remote user can inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.



3) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45519)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the postjournal service. A remote unauthenticated attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


4) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45518)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.

12) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45511)

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data within the OnlyOffice formatter in the Briefcase module. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

13) PHP file inclusion (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-33535)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to include and execute arbitrary PHP files on the server.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect input validation when including PHP files passed via the "packages" parameter in zimbraAdmin interface. A remote non-authenticated attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the affected application, include and execute arbitrary PHP code on the system with privileges of the web server.

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the Zimbra Classic UI. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when using the noneditable_regexp option. A remote attacker can inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
