The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to reachable assertion within the v3d_job_start_stats() and v3d_job_update_stats() functions in drivers/gpu/drm/v3d/v3d_sched.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
