1) Infinite loop (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-46848)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop within the adl_get_hybrid_cpu_type() and intel_pmu_init() functions in arch/x86/events/intel/core.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
