Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect default permissions in the Device Encryption component. A local user can write arbitrary files to the system.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.

Fix included in Device Encryption 2024.2.1.6 on September 19, 2024.
