This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-0123)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the nvdisasm command line tool. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted ELF file and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-0124)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in the nvdisam command line tool. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted ELF file and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


3) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-0125)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the nvdisam command line tool. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted ELF file and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
