1) Link following (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45316)

CWE-ID: CWE-59 - Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following')

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure link following. A local user can delete arbitrary files on the system and escalate privileges.

2) Link following (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45315)
