The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the netem_enqueue() function in net/sched/sch_netem.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.


2) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45001)
