1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-50142)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the verify_newsa_info() function in net/xfrm/xfrm_user.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
