Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-8507)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin in the "mk_file_folder_manager" ajax action. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.
2) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-8918)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload. A remote attacker can upload a malicious file and execute it on the server.
3) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-8746)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload in the "mk_file_folder_manager_shortcode" ajax action. A remote attacker can upload or download a malicious file and execute it on the server.
