Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to sensitive data storage in improperly locked memory in Microsoft Virtual Hard Disk (VHDX). A local user can cause a race condition and cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
