1) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-53102)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition within the nvme_queue_keep_alive_work(), nvme_keep_alive_end_io() and nvme_keep_alive_work() functions in drivers/nvme/host/core.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
Remediation
Install update from vendor's website.
