Description
This security bulletin contains information about 12 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11933)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted X1 file, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11798)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted X1 file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
3) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11797)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted V8 file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
4) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11796)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted V9C file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
5) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11795)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted V8 file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
6) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11794)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted V10 file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
7) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11793)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted V9C file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
8) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11792)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted V8 file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
9) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11791)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted V8C file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
10) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11790)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted V10 file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
11) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11789)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted V10 file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
12) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11787)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted V10 file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
