Description

This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary script in the victim's browser.

The vulnerability exists due to cross-site scripting in Zimbra Classic UI when rendering crafted HTML content. A remote attacker can send crafted HTML content to execute arbitrary script in the victim's browser.

User interaction is required to view the crafted HTML content.

2) Improper authorization (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to reset passwords.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect validation of tokens when resetting passwords in the ChangePassword API. A remote non-authenticated attacker can bypass token validation and perform unauthorized password reset.

3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45516)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the Zimbra Classic UI when handling <img> HTML content. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.

4) Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-48700)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to load malicious CSS.

The vulnerability exists due to improper neutralization of special elements in style tags in the HTML content handling in Zimbra Classic UI when rendering crafted HTML content containing encoded @import statements in "style" tags. A remote attacker can send crafted HTML content to load malicious CSS.

5) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-32354)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin on GraphQL endpoints. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.

6) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-25065)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the RSS feed parser. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.

7) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-25064)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the ZimbraSyncService SOAP endpoint. A remote user can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
