1) Memory leak (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-56710)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to memory leak within the __ceph_sync_read() and ceph_direct_read_write() functions in fs/ceph/file.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
