1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-53206)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the __inet_csk_reqsk_queue_drop() function in net/ipv4/inet_connection_sock.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
