1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-56762)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the io_sqpoll_wait_sq() and io_sq_offload_create() functions in io_uring/sqpoll.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
Remediation
