Description
This security bulletin contains information about 6 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41713)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error in the NuPoint Unified Messaging (NPM) component when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote non-authenticated attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read, modify or delete data, resulting in system compromise.
2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-55550)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote privileged user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read arbitrary files on the system.
3) CRLF injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-47224)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to inject arbitrary data in server response.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of attacker-supplied data in the Audio, Web and Video Conferencing (AWV) component. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application containing CR-LF characters and modify application behavior.
4) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-47189)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the API Interface of the Audio, Web and Video Conferencing (AWV) component. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
5) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-47912)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in the Audio, Web and Video Conferencing (AWV) component. A remote attacker can bypass authentication process and gain unauthorized access to the application.
6) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-47223)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the Audio, Web and Video Conferencing (AWV) component. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
