1) Unprotected Alternate Channel (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-12371)
CWE-ID: CWE-420 - Unprotected Alternate Channel
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Amber
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to the device takeover issue. A remote attacker can configure a new Policyholder user without any authentication via API.
2) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-12372)
CWE-ID: CWE-122 - Heap-based Buffer Overflow
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Amber
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-12373)
CWE-ID: CWE-119 - Memory corruption
