Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Unprotected Alternate Channel (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-12371)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the device takeover issue. A remote attacker can configure a new Policyholder user without any authentication via API.


2) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-12372)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-12373)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
