Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the Juniper Tunnel Driver (jtd) does not properly release memory when handling IPv6 packets. A remote attacker can send malformed IPv6 packets destined to the device and kernel memory to not be freed, resulting in a denial of service condition.
