1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-23050)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error reading data from the Bluetooth L2CAP socket within the processUnsolicitedReply() and processReply() function in bluetooth/qlowenergycontroller_bluez.cpp. A remote attacker can send specially crafted packets to the system, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
