Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in /openNDS/src/auth.c. A remote attacker can send specially crafted request to the server, trigger a use-after-free error and preform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Update the affected package opennds to the latest version.
