1) Weak Password Recovery Mechanism for Forgotten Password (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-53552)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to take over user accounts.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure implementation of the password reset feature. A remote attacker can trick the victim into clicking on a specially crafted link and take over the victim's account.
