Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11499)
The vulnerability allows a remote local to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in RTU500 IEC 60870-4-104 controlled station functionality. A remote administrator can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Insufficient Resource Pool (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-12169)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient resource pool in RTU500 IEC 60870-5-104 controlled station functionality and IEC 61850 functionality. A remote user can cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
3) Missing Synchronization (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-1445)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to missing synchronization in RTU IEC 61850 client and server functionality. A remote attacker can cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
