1) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-6029)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a failure to obtain the xtables lock within the firewall service. A remote attacker on the local network can exploit the race and bypass the firewall on the Iris modem.
