The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to memory leak within the __put_super() and generic_shutdown_super() functions in fs/super.c, within the allocate_filesystem_keyring() function in fs/crypto/keyring.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
