Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to use of uninitialized resource within the tmigr_setup_groups() function in kernel/time/timer_migration.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Update the affected package linux to the latest version.
