Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Type Confusion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-48815)
The vulnerability allows a loal user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a type confusion error in Windows Simple Search and Discovery Protocol (SSDP) Service. A local user can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a type confusion error and execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.
2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-47976)
The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Windows Simple Search and Discovery Protocol (SSDP) Service. A local user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.
3) Double free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-47975)
The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in Windows Simple Search and Discovery Protocol (SSDP) Service. A local user can win a race condition, trigger double free error and execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.
