Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-49724)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Windows Connected Devices Platform Service. A remote attacker can send specially crafted traffic and execute arbitrar code on the target system.

2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-48000)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Windows Connected Devices Platform Service. A local user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.
