1) Sensitive Data Storage in Improperly Locked Memory (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-48819)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to sensitive data storage in improperly locked memory in Windows Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) Device Host. A remote user on the local network can win a race condition and gain elevated privileges on the target system.


2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-48821)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Windows Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) Device Host. A remote user on the local network can win a race condition and gain elevated privileges on the target system.
